What
...
In
order to establish a web presence, you will need a domain name (e.g.
www.yourname.com), a hosting service (with computers constantly connected to the
internet on which your web site files reside) and, of course, your web site,
developed in code which can be read by web browsers such as Internet Explorer.
I design and develop web sites, and can help with registering your domain name and
finding reliable, low cost web hosting services.
My design philosophy is to strive for elegance
in design, incorporating visual interest and clarity in communication and
navigation. With a low overhead, I'm able to offer very affordable web
design rates to individuals or small organizations/ businesses.
How
....
The
design
process
will
start
with
discussions
to
clarify
your
specific
website
requirements
and
preferences,
including
textual
content,
images,
layout,
links
and
other
features
you
would
like
to
see
in
your
site.
[If
you
click
on
any
of
the
logos
under
"Samples",
you'll
get
an
idea
of
the
kind
of
work
I specialize in.]
Once
we've
scoped
the
project,
I
will
develop
and share with you a
prototype
design of
the
site
for you
to
review
and
provide
feedback
on.
Based
on
your
feedback
I
will
develop
the
final
version
of
the
site
for
your
approval.
Rates
...
As my design work is often geared towards
small firms, musicians, actors, artists, families or special
events, my
rates
are
very
competitive (see 'Rates' page).
To get started with a discussion of your
web
site
requirements
- fill in the online questionnaire,
or send
me
an
e-mail.
I
provide
at
least
one-third
of my web
designs
free
of
charge
-
to
environmental,
human-
or
animal-rights
or other non-profit organizations
that
I'm
interested
in
supporting. Contact
me if you're involved in such an organization and would like to have a
web presence (or perhaps a redesigned site).

you
for
developing
my
website ... it
was
such
a
pleasure
to
have
someone
work
on
it
who
has
both well-developed
technical
skills
and
a
great
sense
of
aesthetics. You
developed a
site
for
me that
is
really
tasteful

innovative." -
